Facial animation shots - before and after comparison. Responsible for all character animation.
Perfromance capture side is a snapshot of initial motion capture data before any keyframe animation was added. Final character performance is a combination of that original capture with a keyframe animation layer.
Video recordings of actual actor performances served as animation reference. This reference was interpreted with each specific character's facial features in mind; sometimes performances were tweaked to better match direction for each specific shot.
